IT Procurement Specialist

Location: Moscow, Off Campus Location - Possible remote/hybrid option

Position Summary:
This position facilitates efficient procurement processes, assisting in documentation, vendor communications, and ensuring compliance with institutional purchasing policies and procedures.
Duties may include:

Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders
Collaborate with departments to clarify requisition details, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely order placement
Maintain organized and up-to-date procurement records
Assist in monitoring inventory levels and stock availability
Prepare reports and summaries of procurement activities and spending
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience in an office environment working as a part of a team
Experience with modern computer technology, including common devices, common software applications, Windows and MacOS operating systems

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelors Degree in an information technology/business field with a preference for a Bachelors
Experience in technology support
Experience in IT/business consulting or advanced experience in customer service
Knowledge of purchasing, inventory management/distribution and/or enterprise desktop management
Experience in customer service.
Demonstrated skills in listening/reading for understanding, professionalism, collaboration, advocacy, objectivity, diligence, and flexibility
Experience utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Experience in communicating verbally and in writing

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
Ability to:

Frequently lift, carry and/or otherwise move information technology equipment weighing up to 50 pounds indoors and outdoors
Move between buildings
Climb stairs and ladders
Crawl or maneuver in confined spaces
