Job Summary

The SAS Work-Study Student for Procurement will assist in the Shared Administrative Services Center. Greet visitors to the office and assist them politely and professionally. Work with SAS Staff to assist with the day-to-day running of its clerical operations, Procurement, and in assisting to maintain administrative budget and business processes. Duties will include answering phones, processing work orders and requests, and assisting with other financial documents to include preparing and maintaining various departments' information. The schedule for this position can be anytime within office hours.

Must be a Federal Work Study Student.



Responsibilities
  • Review budget detail reports to update spreadsheets and create analysis, reports, and dashboards.
  • eQuest - document Work in Progress status updates.
  • Assist with maintaining New Supplier ID records and their distribution to SAS and other CSU staff.
  • Validate supplier payments and provide eQuest notification to customers when payments are complete
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications
  • Business Management or relevant field.
  • Position open to all students enrolled in at least six credit hours.
  • Students with a grade point average of 2.5 and above are preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service written and oral communication skills.
  • An understanding of accounting procedures preferable (Excel and/or Smartsheet).
  • Advanced computer skills (Office 365, Presentations, Workflows).
  • Strong emphasis on accuracy and detail.
  • Solid organizational skills and know how to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • A high level of initiative and reliability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Work with all division personnel in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Federal Work Study Student.





Proposed Salary

Starting is commensurate with experience and education.
